What is salvation? Part 2

What is salvation? (Continued) This is a question that you will get a multiplicity of answers, from various people. Please allow me to Walk you through the Holy Scripture in the hope God reveals the answer to you.

In my blog "What is salvation? Part 1" God shared the understanding of salvation is entering into the Kingdom of God through water and spirit baptism in His name Jesus (YAHuSHAuAH in Hebrew, I AM Salvation Almighty). To give you a little more understanding of salvation you MUST know the covenant God made with Abraham and how the covenant relates to Jesus Christ; furthermore how this covenant relates to YOU and baptism in Jesus Christ.

Genesis 17:3-10 says, [Gen 17:3-10 KJV] 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying, 4 As for me, behold, my covenant [is] with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee. 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. 9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. 10 This [is] my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.

We see here in Genesis 17:3-10 that promises were made to Abraham (formerly Abram) by God and He established a covenant with Abraham, for him to keep the blessings that is by being circumcised (Click here to learn the meaning of circumcised). Therefore, any and all promises made to Abraham were for him and to Abraham's seed from everlasting to everlasting.

[Gal 3:15-18 KJV] 15 Brethren, I speak after the manner of men; Though [it be] but a man's covenant, yet [if it be] confirmed, no man disannulleth, or addeth thereto. 16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. 17 And this I say, [that] the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18 For if the inheritance [be] of the law, [it is] no more of promise: but God gave [it] to Abraham by promise.

So...Matthew says, [Mat 1:17-21 KJV] 17 So all the generations from Abraham to David [are] fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon [are] fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ [are] fourteen generations. 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just [man], and not willing to make her a publick example, was minded to put her away privily. 20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

This first chapter of Matthew helps us to understand the promises given to Abraham travels through his bloodline to Jesus Christ our Lord. And when YAHuSHAuAH (Jesus) died on the cross and shed His blood for the sins of both Jew and Gentile (Non-Judah) then, are granted access into those same promises through the baptism in Jesus Name (See my blog What is salvation? Part 1)

Therefore Galatians says, [Gal 3:13-14 KJV] 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed [is] every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

NOW!!! Colossians says THIS concerning Jesus Christ, [Col 2:11-12 KJV] 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with [him] through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead; i.e. The Gospel (Also see: Joel 2:28-32; Matthew 28:19; Heb. 6:1,2; John 4:9-14, John 7:38,39; Acts 2:1-47: Romans 6:3-11).

Furthermore, Paul wrote to Romans [Rom 1:16-17 KJV] 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Love you Beloved.
